Kanye West is following Donald Trump and Elon Musk in the digital sphere.
To express himself on social media, he is acquiring a company that is politically biassed in his favour.
The producer/rapper just decided to purchase Parler.
He says, "In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves."
According to Parler, there will never be a need to worry about getting banned from social media again because of this "groundbreaking entry into the free speech media sphere."
The details of the transaction haven't been made public.
Parler cautions that a formal agreement still needs to be signed with Kanye, which it anticipates doing in the fourth quarter.
